Benessamy Wins Best Wedding Planner Award

What a fabulous week it's been! Here at Benessamy HQ we've been celebrating after winning The Wedding Industry Awards Best Planner (Independent) in the East Midlands Region.

I attended the fabulous ceremony on Tuesday evening at Bassmead Manor Barns in Cambridgeshire with lots of amazing and talented wedding friends and colleagues. I travelled down to the awards with some of my fellow Regional Finalists, the lovely Jenni (Make up by Jenni), Celeste (The Organic Wedding Cake Company) and Jacqui (Fuchsia Fairy).

When we arrived we were greeted by one of the welcome team with a glass of Lanson champagne.and treated to delicious canapes and bowl food by Galloping Gourmet.

As the awards ceremony got under way and The Wedding Industry Awards Founder Damian Bailey took to the stage, I could literally feel my heart start beating out of my chest! There were 25 titles awarded during the evening and when Damian started to read out the feedback from the judges for the Best Planner Award, I have to say that I became quite emotional - "head and shoulders above the rest". My walk up the steps and onto the stage was just full of pride (and a bit shakey!).

It was so lovely to see so many of my fabulous wedding industry colleagues pick up awards too and to spend the evening with all of those who reached the regional finals.

Winners from each category will now go forward to represent the East Midlands in the National Finals to be held in London on 15th January 2015.

I absolutely love being part of this fabulous industry and I'm thrilled to have received this level of recognition from the judges and seal of approval from our wonderful clients who have voted for Benessamy. I'm really looking forward to the national awards.
