Today I'm pleased to welcome Val and Jo from The Ceremony Company.
The Ceremony Company are professional celebrants with over 25 years experience. They offer wedding, civil partnership. vow renewal and baby naming ceremonies. Very often limits are placed on the time, place, venue and style when booking your wedding, civil partnership, renewal or naming ceremony. However, subject to legal formalities, The Ceremony Company work with their clients to help them create a ceremony that reflects their personality and style.
Outdoor weddings (and festival style weddings in particular) at fabulous venues which may not be licenced to hold ceremonies are increasingly popular. I have spoken to a number of couples for instance who love the country location and stunning views offered by Bawdon Lodge Farm and teaming up with celebrants like The Ceremony is a great way for us to be able to offer them a truly unique experience.
Over to Val and Jo for their top tips on personalising your wedding ceremony..
Keep your ceremony personal, reflecting the personality of the two of you and not worrying too much about other people. Sincerity shows through, so say what you wish to convey simply and clearly. Remember why you are doing this and concentrate on each other when exchanging your vows.
Involve people close to you by asking them to contribute readings, bring forward rings or sign the register. Try and let a little humour into proceedings, if things go wrong it is often a chance for everyone to join in with some, kindly meant, laughter and not the disaster it may seem.
Most of all feel beautiful and enjoy your day.
Thanks Jo and Val!
The Ceremony Company will be joining us on the Saturday of the Open Weekend so come along to meet them and find out how they can help you to have a truly personalised wedding ceremony.
