Last month I had the pleasure of attending a familiarisation trip to the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. I was invited by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board who had organised the trip as part of their travel expert programme. The trip was over a period of 7 days and during my time in Saint Lucia I had the opportunity to stay in 5 beautiful resorts and visit over 20 resorts and hotels, as well as see some of the breathtaking sites that the island has to offer
The focus of the trip was to see and experience what Saint Lucia has to offer so that I can advise our clients who are looking to plan their destination wedding in the Caribbean or who are thinking about St. Lucia as their honeymoon destination.

To be able to do this trip any kind of justice and to share some of the beautiful sights I saw whilst I was there, I will be posting a series of blog posts over the coming months featuring a selection of these incredible resorts. This will hopefully help you to fall in love with the island of St. Lucia in the way that I have absolutely and will help you with your destination wedding plans if you’re thinking about getting married in the Caribbean and in particular on the island of St. Lucia. I think it's fair to say that I was completely bowled over by the warm and friendly welcome I received on the island, and more of that later! But for now let me leave with you with this incredible breathtaking view of the Pitons from the fabulous Jade Mountain resort where we had lunch towards the end of our stay on the island.
