A BIG Thank You - Highly Commended Best Wedding Planner Award

This time last week I was arriving at national finals of The Wedding Industry Awards and had no idea about what was about to happen.

The 'Oscars style' event took place at London's Cafe de Paris and I was joined by 2 of my wonderful sisters. We had a fabulous time celebrating with other East Midlands national finalists as well as those from all the other regions.

So what happened?......Benessamy Weddings & Events was awarded Highly Commended Best Wedding Planner!

The award was presented by The Wedding Industry Awards founder Damian Bailey and Sky News Presenter Isabel Webster.

Having shed a few tears of joy it's fair to say that I'm still on cloud 9 about receiving this fabulous recognition of the work we do here at Benessamy. Now that I've had the opportunity to read all the voter comments and the scores which were released by the team at The Wedding Industry Awards following the national final - Needless to say....even more tears have been shed!

It's been wonderful reading the client voter comments and feedback from The Wedding Industry Awards. Here's what one of our clients said:-

"We booked Val as our wedding breakfast and evening function were in different venues. We required a wedding planner to just help out on the day of the wedding to ensure that everything for the evening was sorted when we arrived. Benessamy Weddings & Events offer a 'wedding day service' and it was the best money we spent on the wedding. Val was amazing and within 30 seconds of meeting her we knew we would be hiring her. Before the wedding day she helped us resolve some concerns we had about various aspects of the day, which was really helpful. She helped take a lot of the pressure off the wedding planning.

Last but not least, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to my daughter Jessamy who designed and made my dress for the awards event. It helped to make a very special evening even more special.
